Egremni beach, also known as ‘Little Caribbean’ (a trademark of the island), can be reached by boat from Nydri or car. We recommend wearing closed shoes. When you arrive, you’ll be rewarded with clear blue waters. In order to get the most out of Lefkada, you must experience diving in Porto Katsiki. The Caribbean landscape continues, just one hour from the city. Halfway from the town of Lefkada and Porto Katsiki, is Avali beach. Descend the stairs from the picturesque café at the beginning of the road and you’ll find a quiet beach with clear blue waters. If loneliness and quietude are what you’re looking for, then visit Milos beach. You will need to cross a few difficult roads to get there, but the paradise that awaits will be well worth the effort. If you don’t take the boat to get to Milos, then hike the path from Agios Nikitas instead. After a 20 minute climb, you’ll be swimming in waters that could have been taken straight out of a photograph. If you’re more about organization and comfort, then Kathisma beach is for you. It is easily reached by crossing the west part of the island while passing through small villages. Once there, you’ll find everything you could possibly need: umbrellas, sunbeds, and most importantly, natural beauty.
